Caitlin Arndt, Head Camp Director
Caitlin Arndt comes to Camp Shakespeare with extensive experience in the theatre,
with Shakespeare and in camp
leadership. She is a graduate of Saint Mary's College of California with a degree in Performance. Additionally she has studied at the Atlantic School of Acting in New York, the Lir Theatre in Dublin, and with the Upright Citizen's Brigade in Los Angeles. For the past six years, she has been a teacher/actor with Kingsmen's Shakespeare Educational Tour (SET). She was summer camp director and counselor for six year for LRCC in California. As a former Camp Shakespeare camper, she is excited about returning to her theatrical roots this summer.
Jeff Wallach, Musical Theatre Camp Director
Jeff Wallach returns to the directorial position after last year's successful camp! Jeff has not only worked as an actor with the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival (since its inception) but also has the honor of being the Festival’s Choreographer. In addition to his 23 year relationship with Kingsmen, Jeff is an adjunct professor with CLU’s Theatre and Dance Department having choreographed “Spring Awakening”, “As You Like It”, “Sir Patient Fancy”, “Under Fire”, “Mr Burns: A Post-Electric Play”, and most recently "The Pirate Queen". Outside of CLU and Kingsmen, Jeff has been a guest director and/or choreographer with Ventura College, Moorpark College, Newbury Park High School, Oxnard High School, Villanova Prep, Santa Susana High School as well as working with and/or creating arts programs with the cities of Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Agoura Hills, and Westlake Village. TRAINING: Beverly Hills Playhouse, Los Angeles Music Center, California CTE Credential - “Arts, Media, and Entertainment”, B.A. in Dance - LEAP Program at St. Mary’s College. UNIONS: Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, California Educational Theatre Association, California Dance Education Association. BOARDS OF DIRECTORS: California Dance Education Association, Conejo Valley Pride.
