Workshops

 Beginning Shakespeare

  • Ages 8 - 12
  • June 18 - June 29 

  • ALL DAY - 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

  • Cost: $425

The participants will begin with an exploration the life and acting styles of William Shakespeare, then applying this knowledge in working on Shakespearian scenes. Participants will learn text analysis, vocabulary, stage movement, and combat techniques as they prepare to present their scenes.


Advanced Shakespeare

  • Ages 8 -16
  • July 9 - July 20

  • ALL DAY - 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $425

As a continuation of Beginning Shakespeare, participants will advance their basic knowledge by learning a wider and deeper study of Shakespeare scenes, stage combat and acting techniques. Advance scenes will be presented at the end of the session.


Musical Theatre

  • Ages 10-16
  • July 23 - August 3

  • HALF DAY - 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $300

This specialized camp will focus on all aspects of musical theatre including vocal technique, auditioning, and performance. The session will culminate in a performance of selections from a well-known musical.


Improv (NEW)

  • Ages 8-16
  • July 23 - August 3

  • Full Day- 8:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $425

Campers will be introduced to short-form and long-form improvisation as a tool for actors and as an independent entertainment medium. This active and participation-based workshop will involve games, comic and serious improvisation, character development and improvisational script development. The session will culminate in student-devised performances
